INSULATION

Did you know that a lack of insulation in your loft can cause you to lose 25% of your homes heat?

It's vital that you have the correct amount of insulation in your home in order to keep your house warm in the colder months and cool during the hotter months!

During our surveys we will determine whether or not you need top-up insulation, the Government recommends that everyone insulates to a depth of 270mm if they use rolls of mineral wool insulation (this is the fluffy stuff you see in most DIY stores, and is the most cost-effective solution).

TRUSS SHELVING

Properties built after 1960 have a truss style roof, we can carry out boarding in these lofts however we don't board into the eaves to allow for the correct amount of airflow in your loft. This is to prevent condensation and mould issues in your property.

We would only board down the centre of the loft, but due to the position of the trusses, we are able to add even more storage space to your loft space with our truss shelving option!

ROOF LINER

Roof liner is a roof membrane that allows your roof to continue to breath, but helps prevent external dust and debris from coming in through your tiles and entering your loft space.

It's a great way of keeping items in your loft in better condition.
